My babies! The obligatory and self-indulgent "about me" bit: I worked on the editorial staff at Guitar World from 1993 to 1996 but never did any transcribing. I started tabbing things out when I started playing with my first garage band in college. I am by no means an expert at figuring out songs, but I can pick out the groove as well as the next guy, and I figure anything I write down is at least a start for the next person.

I own seven guitars, the biggies being a 1988-ish Fender Strat Plus in Torino Red and a 1979 Les Paul Custom in Wine Red. The Strat's my fave, and due to some part swaps that happened before I bought the guitar (no Wilkenson nut or Sperzel tuners on the neck), it's basically a Clapton signature without the name on the headstock--which is just fine with me! My wife recently became a bass player, so she no longer ribs me about instrument lust. And I finally have someone to jam with, so that's cool. The more bass songs she learns, the more I'll be tabbing out, and the more I'll be adding to the page.

I don't really have the time to do requests, and this page will only be updated infrequently (like, whenever I actually type things out!), but I'm always game to hear feedback.
